Mission Statement
At STATIC (Student Activity Committee at IUP), our mission is to create unforgettable experiences for all IUP students through free, fun, and inclusive events held year-round. We strive to bring joy to campus life by listening to what students want, delivering exciting programming, and fostering meaningful connections. Through every concert, game night, speaker, and special event, we aim to help students make lasting memories, build community, and feel truly at home at IUP.

 General Purpose
The general purpose of STATIC is to enhance the student experience at Indiana University of Pennsylvania by planning, organizing, and hosting a wide variety of free, engaging, and inclusive events throughout the academic year. STATIC serves as a bridge between students and campus life, aiming to build community, promote student involvement, and contribute to a vibrant and memorable college experience for all.

What We Do
STATIC plans, promotes, and hosts a wide range of free events for IUP students throughout the year — from activities, movie nights, and comedy shows to interactive games, workshops, and special campus traditions. We focus on creating fun, inclusive, and memorable experiences that bring students together, reflect their interests, and help build a strong sense of community on campus. Our goal is to make student life exciting, meaningful, and full of opportunities to connect and unwind.
